The Habitat was nice with beautiful view and grounds. The staff and dive masters friendly and knowledgable. The location was too isolated however. There was nothing to do in the afternoon since the shuttle service to “town” only went in the morning when we were diving. (the cost of a taxi to town was $40 one way!). There were no other resturants closeby which was frustrating as i found the food/dinner choices not to my liking at the resort and you were not allowed to order off the lunch menu for a better variety (even tho the “lunch menu” said lunch/dinner and served until 10pm.) The thing most frustrating about that was that some of the same items that were offered on the lunch menu were also on the “dinner menu” at an increased cost.
Also, there was no beach for non-divers to enjoy…i realize the island is naturally rocky, but a man-made beach area would have been nice. The diving was good. I saw more Seahorses and other things at Curacao than i have after 2 trips to Bonaire.
