As you know, the trip was thrown into limbo with Steve's untimely passing (Great American Dive Company.) We had an incredible time on the Cocos Island Aggressor and celebrated my husband’s birthday and my 500th dive during the trip! We saw hammers, tigers, Galapagos, oceanic black tips, a couple of mantas (during my 500th dive), eagle and marble rays, and huge schools of fish including more jacks than I’ve ever seen schooling together at one time.

On the week long liveaboard dive trip to Palau, aboard Palau Aggressor II. I'm not sure I can say anything bad about the trip, except it ended too soon. It was the best dive experience All of the dive sites were amazing. My flights were on time, without issue. Luggage even made it. Yayyyy!

Maduro Dive Travel is always first choice for our dive adventures and this was our 9th dive trip. We booked this trip later than usual and were happy to find a new available room. We stayed 15 nights in new accommodations. We saw more of everything: turtles, spotted eagle ray, southern ray, squid, huge green moray eel and millions of fish. After all, it’s about the diving.

Had a great two week trip to Fiji both resort's dive areas had their own vibe and special corals and creatures. Both Volivoli and Paradise Taveuni resorts were top notch. You might consider not diving a day to see the waterfalls and do a village visit on another top side day but we dove every day two tank and some house reef time.

I am a scuba instructor and technical diver, and have a family of 4 that dives and a 9-year-old daughter that loves the water. We have been on many dive vacations, this was our first trip to Roatan. It exceeded my expectations in practically every regard. The Maduro staff were heroes for us on this trip (Lori, Mike and Debra) - taking time to talk with me over the phone to give me a real sense of the place and how things work that I could not get from any advertisement or forum - they have detailed knowledge and experience and were spot on, thank you! The resort (accommodations, food, and all personnel) and dive operations were excellent.

I am not sure where in the Caribbean I will go in the future, but I might try a more eastern Caribbean/Atlantic island such as Saba (albeit one difficult to get to). I have not yet committed to the idea of a live aboard (mostly from concerns about being seasick). Perhaps, I should reconsider Baja? And, of course, planning a South Pacific trip in June to Sipidan Island off Sabah, Malaysia.

Hi Sausan,
We started our reservation with Roxanne and was out ill and couldn't assist us. Our airfare with American Airlines was set to expire. Luckily for us, Sausan came to our rescue.

The day I called you were extremely busy with your clients and getting reports out, but you took the time to listen to our problem and promised to look into our situation. I called you again the following day and you let me know that American Airlines was not working with you. Your advice to call the airlines directly and the suggestions you gave me as to what to say did the trick. We were able to salvage the airfare and use some of it for a trip to Florida and still have funds available until Mar. 2023.

We had an excellent time on our vacation. Sausan with Maduro made booking very convenient and she was very responsive, not just with booking, but throughout our stay. This became especially important as Covid testing requirements changed just 24 hours before our trip and again during our stay; Sausan immediately kept us updated on the changes. Local testing company came to the hotel daily to perform the required Health Department and US return travel testing requirements.

I believe when someone does an exceptional job they need to be commended for their hard work and commitment to their job, which directly reflects back to you and your business. I have been using Maduro Dive for many years and have had the pleasure to deal with Lori. I have done trips through Lori for just my wife and I or up to 12 people in a group. I know in your business that’s not a lot of people, but working with Lori always makes you feel like you and your group are the most important group in the world. Quick story, I booked, in January of 2020, a group of 8 divers to go to Bonaire in April of this year, deposits in everyone thrilled to go some of us for the first time, some have been several times. Then COVID hit and we were still hoping to go right up to 2 weeks ago and then things started to unravel. By now I have 9 divers and everyone is going into melt down. I called Lori and with her help, she salvaged our trip with a trip to Curacao, now we have 10 possibly 12 divers going. I had Lori working tirelessly for a week getting prices and places to stay trying to keep in the price range of Bonaire. Lori with out hesitation jumped right on it and got us booked at Dreams in Curacao in the price range we needed to be in. Lori also stepped upped when I asked her to do a zoom meeting with me and my group. Again without question Lori said lets do this. My group was thrilled, not just to meet Lori, whom I rave about, but because she also answered questions I would have had to have called several times to get the answers to. Lori is always upbeat and out going and is the reason I and my groups are staunch supports of Maduro Dive.

I wanted to say how very impressed I've been with Lori and thus with Maduro Dive.

I reached out to her about two weeks ago with a rather vague request of wanting to go to a special place to reacquaint my wife and myself with diving (it's been a few years).  Lori was so wonderful, friendly and accommodating as we discussed alternatives and once we settled on Grand Turk, she took the time to assure my wife of the quality of the location and resort, and was very helpful in making the travel arrangements, even calling me on a Friday evening to remind me that the "hold" of the flight would expire the next day.

In this age of digital travel agents, it was a joy to work with Lori and I look forward to doing so again.
