MV Emperor Serenity Diving
They typically do 17 dives during a 7 night trip. The itinerary changes depending on the location of certain fish at certain times of the year. They want you to have the "Best of trip" on every trip. So, the northern dives have channel-drift dives, pinnacles wrecks, and night dives. So, from the MV Emperor Serenity, you may see mantas, turtles, and whale sharks. Meanwhile, in the south, there are channel dives with large pelagics such as hammerheads, thresher sharks, and mantas. While scuba diving from MV Emperor Serenity, you'll see small creatures such as frogfish, nudibranchs, and seahorses. Embudu Kandu, Hembadhu Kandu, and Ziyaara Kandu are popular channel dives. Kuda Faru, and Eri Faru are reefs in channels. Reefs filled with fish include: Kandooma Thila, Kudarah Thila, and Maaysa Thila.
Attractions and Activities
While aboard the MV Emperor Serenity, you'll have three meals a day buffet style, plus snacks between dives. Because all the diving takes place off the dhoni (boat), there is additional room to relax in the dining, lounge, and bar area. Lounge chairs on the sundeck are a nice place to relax between dives too. So, the MV Emperor Serenity is rebreather-friendly and offers free NITROX! As a result, you use the same tank attached to your gear, so once your tank is refilled, you are essentially ready to go for the next dive. They also have a photography charging station. Moreover, four dive guides are on staff. Depending on weather conditions, you may have a BBQ on a beach or down time on white sand, or have a chance to visit a village. While waiting for a night dive, snorkeling may also be an optional activity.
