About Blue Marlin Beach Resort
The Blue Marlin Beach Resort is a scuba diving destination located on South Water Caye in Belize. The resort has 15 accommodations that range from Family cabanas, Private cabanas, Island view cabins/igloo style, and Standard rooms. Each room comes with evening air conditioning, ceiling fans, ensuite bathrooms with shower or tub/showers, and beach chairs or hammocks. However, a mini fridge is in all rooms except Standard rooms. Blue Marlin Beach Resort Diving
You are scuba diving right on the edge of the Mesoamerican great barrier reef. Expect to see lots of reef and patch reef dives near shore, and wall dives and ocean drop-offs on the other side of the reef system There are also sea grass mounds and sand banks near some of the other Cayes that the manatees occasionally graze on. Blue Marlin Beach Resort goes out for two dives a day. Most of the local dives are 2-10 minutes away by boat. All the dives are drift dives. Because this area is part of a marine reserve, expect to see eagle rays to dolphins as well as several species of grouper in all stages of growth.

Attractions and Activities
At the club house they have a bar and outside dining area with a spectacular view of the sea. This is where divers tend to hang out between dives or when not snorkeling somewhere on the reef. There are 3 meals each day as well as an afternoon snack. More importantly, lunches and dinners are family style. Breakfast at Blue Marlin Beach Resort is made to order. So, if you have any special dietary needs please tell them in advance, as most items except fresh fish and some vegetables, are shipped in from the mainland to this 15 acre island. So, for activities, you can go kayaking, play billiards, or throw darts.
You might also like to go deep sea fishing for permit, tarpon, or bonefish. If, you catch all three in a single day you just earned a Grand Slam.
