Cottage Club is located a few blocks away from downtown Windwardside on Saba Island. This scuba diving island is east of Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands, northwest of St. Kitts and Nevis, or southwest of St. Maarten/St. Marten. The resort has 10 gingerbread style cottages. So, each cottage has a living area with full kitchen area, bedroom, and a bathroom. Rooms are cooled by a never ending gently flowing breeze through open windows or doors. Doors to houses and cars are rarely locked in the safe from crime area around Cottage Club and Saba Island. Just 2,000 locals including medical students live on the island. Enjoy our blog article on

Cottage Club Diving
For scuba diving guests, Cottage Club recommends Sea Saba Advanced Dive Center. Sea Saba has two 40' long boats complete with fly bridges. They are rated for 20 passengers each, but they only take out a max of 10 divers each for comfort and safety. The waters around Cottage Club on Saba are a designated marine park, so expect to see lots of marine life around a total of 30 dive sites. Saba has volcanic origins and while diving out here you may still come across areas of sand that are still quite hot, such as at the dive site Babylon. The volcanic activity has also produced surrounding seamounts and many pinnacles rising above the sea floor.
So, you'll have to note in your log book that both Twilight Zone and Green Island are typical, yet impressive pinnacles. Mt. Mitchel has two pinnacles. While staying at Cottage Club, you may also want to dive Porites Point, which has a great drop off. Moreover, Big Rock Deep has deep overhangs. Shark Shoals has pelagics such as mahi mahi and wahoo, and Mooring is a muck dive/macro dreamland. So, also keep in mind that Sea Saba has Nitrox available and they do scuba dive instruction courses too.
Attractions and Activities
Cottage Club provides breakfast over at the Grand house. There is a honor system bar and a book exchange library there too. So, there are several restaurants available in town if you prefer to eat out and try the local cuisine rather than cook in your cottage. There are a few grocery stores within walking distance. Furthermore, for things to do, you can hike up Mount Scenery, enjoy some snorkeling, take art lessons, go birding, visit the museum, or walk into Windwardside and do some shopping. Finally, you can relax and hang out at the secluded pool. Just follow the brick walkway from your cottage to find the pool surrounded by lush plans and trees. You can also go for a swim in the pool, or look at the ocean while sitting at your sea facing balcony.
