Ra Divers is the onsite scuba diving center. They use three custom built boats to take you out to over 80 local dive sites. So in this part of Fiji you are scuba diving the Bligh Water and Vatu-I-Ra Passage. Large pelagic are frequent visitors, but everyone wants to see the white frog fish. Around Volivoli Beach Resort there are drift dives, wall dives, swim throughs, pinnacles and shallow dives across bommies. Some aptly named sites nearby include: The Arches, Cannibal Cave, Blue Wall, Cathedrals, and Bat Reef. The picturesque dive site E6 is named after the slide film so heavily used here during non-digital era. In addition, they have a few wrecks like the Papuan Explorer, and the large Ovalau car ferry.
The Pool Bar is an oasis beside the ocean. This is a tranquil place where guests can relax on a lounge chair. You can also sip exotic drinks while basking in the Fijian sun, or cool off at the swim up bar. The Ra Bar and restaurant is right on the beach and next to the dive shop. They serve gourmet pizzas, fish and chips, and even hot dogs. Beside all the water activities, beautiful sunbathing spots, and nightly entertainment and culture, you can also visit a local village or tour the nearby town of Rakiraki.
