Ayers

Laguna Beach is a very rustic resort, but clean and AC works well. Beds were fine. you can’t drink the water on the island, so must be careful showering, brushing your teeth etc. We were promised 3 beds in our triple room, and initially it was not set up this way, but the resort made it right in an afternoon. Diving was super, and because there were 2 big dive groups the week we went, our family group of 5 had our own boat and divemaster. The owner of the resort also owns a liveaboard, the Carribean Pearl II, and one of the days we got to go out and dive "on the big boat" The food was good, there were always a couple of choices and you could always find something you liked to eat, and plenty of it. The resort requires a light plane and a boat ride to get to it, our light plane could not take all of us plus our bags at the same time, requiring two trips. This was ok on the way in, but almost made us late to our exiting flight.
