We dove twelve dives with Aqua Safari, which is now owned by the Palace. The dives were good, and the boats were safe. The ONLY criticizm is that Aqua Safari refused to take us to Punta Sur (the south end) where the Devil’s Throat and Cathedral sites are located. These are deep dives, and we had to hire another dive operator to take us, and that trip was fabulous. Aldora Divers picked us up at the Palace and treated us well. I recommend them. The staff and services at the Cozumel Palace were wonderful, and the food was fabulous as well. The $1,500 resort credit is a BIG plus, and I recommend that anyone wanting to go to Cozumel, book the Palace since once the economy gets better, this credit will go away and most of our diving was done using it which saved me about $600.
