Red Sea was a very good diving experience. The water temps for the first week in September were a pretty steady 80° even at depth. I was comfortable in a 3mm shortie the entire week. The landscape in Egypt is stark and void of life. This is coming from a guy who lives in the desert. The depths were alive with sea life. In my years of diving it was the first time I’ve seen dolphins underwater…and on three consecutive dives. The crew was spectacular and saw to our every need. The food was pretty good and they made allowances for those of us with dietary restrictions. Feel free to pass on the included local beers and wine. That was awful and I’m being kind. I have a feeling the diving could even be better than what I experienced due to some high winds and seas which somewhat compromised the visibility in certain areas. Perhaps if I’d schedule my trip a week or two earlier it would have made a difference. This northern Red Sea booking does a lot of wreck dives. Make note.
