I have to say it was pretty far away from everything. Didn't like this too much. We like to go into town from time to time. So half the distance would be better. But the resort was really nice and we liked it a lot. Our Suite was great.... so big. Nice furnished, wished we had maybe a little kitchenette and some dresser to put things in. Place for this was definitely there in the bathroom and dressing room.
Employees were nice and friendly, helpful and we really can't complain about anything. Dive operation was great. Chris is doing a wonderful job. The 2 big dive groups which were there, were no problem for us. Got included sometimes with the group, which was nice.
Because of the weather we got bused around the corner and couldn't leave from the pier in front. (Didn't like this too much, but there is not much you can do about the weather).

The dive operation was terrific. The hotel was more than we expected. Limited menu, but very good food. Excellent choice.

We had a great time on our trip. Regrettably the winds were too strong for us to dive on the northern part of the island so we missed a lot of the best dive sites so our dive experience was average.
Average diving aside, we loved the resort. The dive crew were very friendly, helpful and pleasant to dive with. The resort staff was very friendly and helpful as well. The rooms were very spacious and clean. The food was fantastic.

The resort and Reef Divers were both very good. We got upgraded to a suite at no extra charge which was sweet . All in all a very pleasant trip.

Nice resort, great dive team. Really nice boats, rooms need upgrade, food average, but nice week for the money. Would highly recommend, especially valet diving for those middle agers who do not want to lug equipment around! Loved Oli, Ben Bernie, Will and all the dive masters. Pretty reefs, lots of small fish and pretty coral, not many larger ones / sharks.

The dive staff was helpful, eager, knowledgeable, friendly, talented and hard working. The food was magnificent. Our room was clean and comfortable. They are refurbishing the facilities and the new air conditioning system promises to be quieter. Great diving on larger boats with nice snacks and facilities. I recommend Cobalt Divers and would go back without reservation. The valet diving services are not of interest to me. I am capable of setting up and carrying my equipment but is an excellent option for disabled or older divers. Forgot the camera.

Perfect trip, one of the best ever! We shared a two bedroom suite at Cobalt Coast with our friends for 9 nights. We had the dive boat to ourselves for an entire week! The visibility was great, the water temp was 80-81 and even though we could only shore dive one day due to big waves, the 2 tank morning boat dives made up for it. We saw spotted eagle rays, nurse sharks, lots of turtles and green moray and beautiful fish. The boat crew and everyone at the resort were GREAT and the food was delicious! We would have been happy not ever leaving the resort as our afternoon adventures paled in comparison, except for Stingray City which was AWESOME! When we go back, we hope Cobalt Coast offers afternoon dives and that will be icing on the cake! Oh, and the $200 room vouchers were greatly appreciated!

Great resort! Great diving! Super food!

We were at Cobalt Coast Resort April 5-12 2018. We loved our stay here!! Room was perfect! The food was very good, limited menu because they were remodeling their buffet area, but no big deal. Let me just say the staff here is awesome!! So friendly and helpful with anything we needed! Diving was great! Saw sharks, big Midnight Parrot fish. Sting Ray City was the coolest! The dive staff was very knowledgeable and super at their jobs! Would go back in a heartbeat

My friend and I really enjoyed Cobalt Coast and Reef Divers. Everyone was super nice and the dives (and locations) were great. We loved the swim throughs and Kittywake. The food was good, not great, but some meals were better than others. Breakfast was the best meal of the day by far. Only real complaint was that we wished meals started 30 min earlier. For example breakfast at 6:30 didn't give a lot of time to digest before diving and there the wait for lunch and dinner when we got back from diving was just a little too long. We also really loved the location. It was away from the busy area of Grand Cayman and very quiet. It was exactly what we wanted. We would recommend to anyone looking for a great dive vacation.

Cobalt Coast and DiveTech are two of the best operations I’ve had the pleasure to visit. The group of 20 arrived on a sunny Saturday and were greeted by the resort owner. The resort manager was totally hands-on. Checking in every day to make sure the group was getting what they needed and ensuring everyone was happy and having a good time. The answer was always “YES!”
The Resort is small & quaint and offers all the creature comforts. Suites are a great size with a sitting area, bedroom and spacious bathroom. Food was DELICIOUS at every meal. Breakfast was a buffet each morning with everything from cereal & yogurt to eggs, hotcakes and French toast. Select your lunch and dinner meals off the menu. Each selection was exceptional, not fast food quality food; it was much, much more! And the portion size....you never left the table hungry.
Dive Tech is located right on the premises. The week we visited brought strong north winds and since the resort is located on the North Shore the boats weren't able to tie up to the resort pier. No worries, Dive Tech had that all worked out, a quick van ride to their second location had us boarding on the lee side. Dive sites were always a short boat ride away. We looked forward to the thorough and entertaining briefings prior to each dive and were treated to sites that never disappointed us. Turtles were a common sighting on nearly every dive as were the large varieties of schooling fish. The dive on the Kittywake and StingRay City are not to be missed!
Everyone had a terrific time, from the resort accommodations, to the hospitality of the resort management and the rest of the staff to DiveTech, the DiveMasters and the many dives we were treated to. Not a negative thing to pass along. Cobalt Coast will be added to the list of places we will definitely visit again!

Great trip to Grand Caymans. The hotel and staff were great. Food was wonderful. The diving was OK, not as good as little Caymans or the Brac. Also, they did not have any night diving or shore diving. I felt that the boats were too crowded, sometimes up to 20 people per boat. Divemasters were really great.
We got a great deal on First Class tickets from IAH. The new airport is a bit of a disaster. We got through migrations in about 30 minutes, however, many of the other people on our boat had to wait up to three hours. Also the airport checkin, security, and even the departure lounge was overwhelmed by the number of passengers traveling on a Saturday.
Probably will not dive Grand Caymans again. The diving is just so much better at Little Caymans. Was a really good trip overall.

Our trip went great, airport transport was there even though we were 3 hours late due to plane troubles in Miami.

Service was outstanding. We would highly recommend Cobalt Coast to everyone. Food is very good, views beautiful. Divers were impressed and as a snorkeler I was very happy. My snorkel trip was with Dexters, which was excellent. Small but comfortable boat. So much better than cattleboats we saw. Our suites were roomy, comfortable and immaculate. Buses were easy to take. The only thing we could not do easily was go to the botanic gardens from our location. Also, i could snorkel but not do stand up paddleboarding at Cobalt-TOO MUCH BREEZE. Went to 7 mile for that. Having 2 shore diving and snorkeling sites was perfect for our group. Also, divers were impressed with dive teks safety.

Room were very nice and roomy— a little short on storage space. Maid service good. Everything worked fine. We did have two couples who had problems with their air conditioners, not cooling, but one was totally resolved, one partially, but clients were not happy for a while.
Arie was very hospitable, as was Dorie. We had a party one night, and he had kitchen help store our punch overnight, provide dishes and platters for snacks, anything I needed. He and Dorie both came to the party. And he had kitchen prepare us a couple of trays of hors d’oeuvres to add to ones I prepared. He also brought a boom box with recorded music for the party. One member of our group had a birthday while there, and Arie arranged for a decorated birthday cake for me at dinner that night and wouldn't even charge me for it.
The Dive Tech folks were equally accommodating. The boat was nice and roomy. We had it to ourselves most of the time, with 15 divers. One day we missed a dive because of the weather and later in the week, they gave us the stingray city dive FREE (a $35 value per person) to make up for it— that is rare— most places— if the conditions are bad and you don’t get to dive, you just lose the dive. We had one diver who was having problems— the dive tech staff helped her prep her gear, put her gear on, and basically put her in the water and hand-held her through all the dives. Fortunately, diving is just like riding a bicycle, so she did fine once she got in the water, but they stayed with her all the dives, going above and beyond. Their rental equipment was in good condition, and dive shop staff very helpful. Briefing on boat were a “show.” Our main dive master was a double for Russell Crowe and sounded just like him. He was from England. We had some excellent dives. The only thing I would change about the diving would be to start a little later. We had to be ready to go at 7:45am and that was a little rushed when breakfast wasn't put out until 7am.
The food at the restaurant was great. Everyone ate every meal there, except two couples went out to dinner one night. All the meals were exceptional— breakfast buffet, lunch and delicious dinners with specials every night. The food was also ample. One couple ordered a single dinner nightly and split it— servings were so large. The wait staff was excellent, also.
The ground transfers were fine. They were waiting for us at the airport, took us to resort, and when we got ready to leave, they were there, doing their job.
All in all, I would not hesitate to recommend Cobalt Coast and Dive Tech.

We just returned to the US from the most fabulous scuba diving trip to Grand Cayman Island. We stayed at Cobalt Coast, a very private resort that had everything we needed for the entire 9 night stay. The staff there was excellent-the front desk ever accommodating, the cook superb, the food excellent, the staff of workers were friendly and so efficient, and housekeeping was superb. Our room was so nice and large! Reef Divers is the dive operation right on site and wow do they do a fantastic job! It was our first experience with valet service on the boat and made diving so much easier for the diver. We absolutely loved the dive sites we visited, seeing nurse sharks, sea turtles, stingrays, squid, eels, large crab, lobster, grouper and so many kinds of fish and beautiful coral formations. There are a lot of grooves and spurs there, small boat wrecks, and the visibility was at least 100 feet every day! Phenomenal!
