Iberostar Tucan & Quetzal Diving
So, Dressel Divers, a scuba diving center, is right on the beach in front of the resorts. The center has a staff of dive instructors that teach basic dive classes to tec dive classes. They have daily one and two tanks dives out to dive sites such as Punta Piedra, Moc-che Deep, Jardines, Barracuda, Tortugas, and the Mama Vias wreck. Moreover, they have special seasonal dives such as Bull shark dives in November to mid-March, and whale shark dives from May to mid-September.
Cenote diving, and the Palancar dives are excellent choices almost year-round while visiting Iberostar Tucan & Quetzal. Dressel Divers also organize snorkeling trips as well. The schooling fish you see here may be the same ones that drifted over from Santa Rosa reef off Cozumel the day before. The lobsters, nurse sharks, territorial eels, and cleaning stations tend to remain stationary. They build their homes around coral outcrops, sea fans, and barrel sponges.
