The day we arrived when we were ready to go to bed we discovered that the bed was full of bugs…termites we were told…they changed our room. The place needs a lot of maintenance, has no beach (but a nice pool) and the service at the restaurant is from bad to abysmal, the food is fair. The whole island is trashy, literally, a lot of trash all over, abandoned houses and cars… Diving is ok, the diving center is ok, laid back but works and safe but most of the dives are shallow or very shallow and visibility was a problem.

More Resort Details

My review is base only on resort and restaurant which was presentable and clean. The food and service was very good. Diving at the resort was not at all to my satisfaction. On first day of diving I was taken to two dive sites of no more than 40 ft on a clear day. Dive master was not willing to do wreck dives and my diving was more of a rush dive than anything else. There was also a total disregard to safety during two dives. On my last two dives due to weather condition it was canceled. Due to issues with dive master and also two days of missed dives due to weather; Mr. Watson JR apologized and offered just the two days of missed dives due to weather. My vacation video was no more than 9 mins of a rush dives due to dive master's disregard of safety and his own personal agenda. Not at all much of dive vacation for me and I was very disappointed.

Our time in Bimini was wonderful. Next trip to Bimini might be when the kids are older and we can swim with dolphins :) Attaching my favorite pics! I gave your name to some new dive friends we met on the boat.
